Pro Educator is open from your first student upward. The trial ends in read-only mode on day 14 if you do nothing — no surprise charge.

School path

Questions about getting started
Do I need a credit card to start the tutor trial?+
No. The 14-day Pro Educator trial requires no credit card. You get the full toolkit (curriculum, AI tutor, video room, branded booking page, Stripe Connect) for 14 days. On day 14 you decide whether to subscribe at $19/mo. If you do nothing, the account stays in a read-only state — no surprise charge.
How long does Stripe Connect take to set up?+
About five minutes for Express. Standard Stripe KYC (legal name, address, last 4 of SSN for US tutors; equivalent ID for other countries). Once verified, your branded booking page can take live payments and your payouts run on Stripe's standard 2-day rolling schedule.
What does the school pilot look like?+
30 days, up to 25 seats, full admin features, signed pilot DPA. We deliver the SSO + SCIM configuration, walk the curriculum director through gradebook passback to Canvas / Google Classroom / Schoology, and stand up a per-cohort dashboard. At day 30 you sign the production contract or end the pilot — no auto-conversion.
Can I import my existing student list?+
Yes. CSV importer accepts name, email, current CEFR level, and parent contact (for under-18s). Imported students get a welcome email with a one-click link to set their password. You don't have to re-type a roster you already have in italki, Google Sheets, or a Notion table.
