Tutors who teach Sprouts (5-7), Junior (8-11), or Tween/Learn (11-14) age bands must clear verified background screening before accepting minor-facing bookings. Pending-screening tutors are limited to adult learners until they clear.

When a tutor opts into teaching minors, background screening is part of onboarding. Minor-facing bookings stay blocked until the tutor's cleared status is confirmed, and screening is renewed every year.
