Every transactional email Koydo sends — booking confirmations, payment receipts, parent digests, COPPA renewal reminders, system alerts — routes through Google Workspace SMTP. Per owner directive: NO Resend, NO SendGrid, NO Postmark. Workspace only.
Integration shape
Workspace SMTP for transactional email. Workspace Calendar API for Google Calendar two-way sync (per-tutor opt-in). Google Classroom export pipeline planned for K-12 school admin contracts (gradebook sync to schools' existing Classroom deployments). Service-account auth + domain-wide delegation for institutional accounts.
Value exchange
Workspace gets: established edtech customer with disciplined SMTP usage patterns. Koydo gets: enterprise-grade email deliverability, calendar integration that schools + parents trust, eventual K-12 Classroom integration without third-party middleware.
Fit note
Owner directive locked 2026-05-24: external email-sending SaaS (Resend, SendGrid, Postmark, Mailgun, SES, Twilio SendGrid) is forbidden codebase-wide. Workspace SMTP is the only acceptable transactional-email path. Google Classroom integration is on roadmap for K-12 contracts.
